Chris Mitchell has served as CBN News's Middle East Bureau Chief since opening the network's Jerusalem bureau in August 2000. Five weeks later, the Second Intifada erupted, beginning more than two decades of reporting from the front lines of Israel and the Middle East—from four years of suicide bombings and the wars with Hamas and Hezbollah to the rise of ISIS, the persecution of Christians, the Abraham Accords, October 7th and the wars that followed.
He hosts the weekly program Jerusalem Dateline and is the author of three books on Israel and the Middle East.
Chris describes the calling of the Jerusalem bureau in the words of Isaiah: to be “watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem”—reporting what is happening from the ground and helping believers understand the times in which we live.
